So, what do we do all day in the Aloha State?

Well, Cleo spends her days doing this:

Sometimes she sneaks outside to stalk some lizards...

William and I spend the mornings doing chores.

He is a big help with the laundry!

And he's so portable.

The other day we mowed the yard-not an easy feat with a a baby, but he was game. After all, he got to wear his sun hat.

We go to the beach.

William sometimes has a few too many.

Or we'll walk into town to run errands or go to the library. He's a big flirt with the ladies he meets!

And some days we just relax on the lanai (Hawaiian for patio) and listen to music. Buster's very good at "chillin' "

Aloha for now!

ALOHA!

Some Hawaii pictures from the other day at the beach-

Island you can swim/paddle to for seclusion or a picnic.

Gilligan had fun.

Paddleboarding (basically standing up on a surfboard) is big here. Seems like an odd way to get around to me! I tease our friend Donald, an avid paddleboarder, that it is an "old man's sport."

Of course William always gets his bath after the beach! If Dad is here he gets a shower. ;)

Finally-a nursery for Buster!

Its not finished, but this is what I did after they set up the crib today.

William was much appreciative.

Of course, he is fast asleep in his carseat so looks like it will be tomorrow until he sleeps in it. :) It is what it is!

Happy 4th of July!
We went to the town parade and William loved watching the bands go by.
Later he managed (barely!) to stay up late enough to watch fireworks with us on the beach.
