Random William Fun

Here is William attempting to play nice with Cleo. He means well...

I foresee this with younger siblings in our future...

Poor Cleo!

Our neighbor gave us their baby pool. Here's our test run.

That silly grin again...

A motorcycle drove by...that's William listening to the roar.

William decided it was bath time. Or maybe he's just chillin'.
He keeps getting the slinky stuck on his foot. I'm going to upload the video to You Tube for you guys.
Fun with our iMac

Our new iMac computer ha a "photo booth" option. So every day we take a picture to send to Matt. Here's a random sampling...

Beach day!

After a beach day!

Peek-a-boo!

William likes to play peek-a-boo by himself with blankets.
Here's some pictures I snapped.

Marching around

Where's William???
Cousin It
A hiking we will go....a hiking we will go!

We have been hiking up a storm lately. How can you not take advantage of all this beautiful scenery and warm weather?

Hike 1: Makapu'u Lighthouse
We first did this hike back in summer (the pics are earlier in the blog). Easy to push the stroller up it!

That's a long way down...now step away and quit making Mommy nervous

Our hiking partners!
 Girls:Trina, Whitney, Gwen
Dogs: Kami, Quesadilla, Taco Bell, Geo

Hike #2-Lanikai Pillboxes

For this hike I bravely strapped William in the carrier and huffed it up the hill. No pics on the way up-I was concentrating on balancing a 20 lb weight on my shoulders!
Kaneohe-the same view from our beach

The Mokes!

Waimanalo (the opposite view from the first hike, you can see the rabbit island in the background)
William getting the easy way up

More of the Mokes

William didn't make it down the whole way down awake...

Hike #3-Manoa Falls (minus William)

We tried to hike the famous Diamond Head crater. Unfortunately it was closed for the day. Go figure. But, we made lemonade and hiked a nearby trail instead, Manoa Falls.
Really cool scenery

Massive trees
The topography changed as we ascended. Here is the bamboo jungle.
Manoa Falls. It has been very dry, so the falls are just a trickle.

Another topography change-mossy forest
Huh. This looked cooler in person than on film.
Whitney and Gwen posing in front of the falls!

Hello! I'm Brian Fellowes...

William was wearing his "safari" outfit that day...and just happened to carry around my camera bag. How apropos.

This is his new smile when he knows the camera is on him. Mom is not a fan.
Every good safari guide must test the resiliency of the strap...

Random good times

William trying to figure out his new lawn mower. He doesn't push it around os much as try to flip it over and take it apart.

Not sure if he is trying to give the bear a ride or run it over...let's hope it's the former...

Here we are getting ready to go see a free concert on base. William had on his best "concert" tee. The concert was the Lt. Dan Band-Gary Sinise's cover band. Unfortunately I got the night of the concert wrong. So we went to a cafe to hear some jazz instead. William bopped and (unfortunately) sang along.
He looks unhappy here, but he was just hitting a high note.
Here we are at the base pool trying out his new crab float.
Posing with his new Big Boy shoes

A few pics from the beach on our walk one day
Playing around in the kitchen

Climbing in the cabinets-a daily routine. Why open and shut the doors when you can climb all the way in?
